matchy matchy and lychee martinis

This weekend has been a weekend of discoveries: Lychee martinis are my new favourite, I enjoy matching my handbag with my shoes, and the chances of running into someone you know at 2am on the Bigg market (while you're stuffing your face with cheesy chips) are really quite high.

I have come to the conclusion that these new heels are totally justified by how perfectly they match my new mulberry! And thankfully (despite overindulging last night), they're still in pristine condition... phew.

After visiting the new Fat Buddha in Newcastle with Kate a couple weeks ago, I decided it'd be a good idea to stop by last night and enjoy a few cocktails. The one in Durham gets packed at weekends but this one is kind of in an awkward place being on the Swan House roundabout.. saying that it's close to Mosley street and Pilgrim street so it's easy to fit it into a bar route. I'd definitely recommend visiting, even if it's just for their amazing lychee martinis.
