Paris has, and probably always will be one of my favourite places. There are some cities that no matter how many times you visit them, just keep on getting better. Each time you travel there you see something different. It’s like you’re seeing a snippet of the city’s personality every time you go. With my birthday at the end of November and after a busy few months, it seemed like the perfect excuse to get away for a couple of days. Since me and Cata have both visited Paris before, we didn’t feel like a whistle-stop tour of the city. Instead we wanted to enjoy Paris; taking the time to enjoy the city with a little help from the lovely Cee, and the nice folks at Go Go Paris. I still haven’t sorted through the photos so I thought I’d just share a little snapshot of the weekend..
We gorged ourselves on moules et frites, wandered around the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro eating banana and nutella crepes and taking far too many photos, indulged ourselves with breakfast at Angelina’s (where they serve the most amazing hot chocolate), partied in Parisian clubs and spent hours wandering around the Left Bank and rummaging in Shakespeare and CO.
