‘In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different’
An amazing, powerful woman, played by a brilliant French actress. This is a bit of an obvious one really isn’t it? But I couldn’t resist! The wardrobe for the film is absolutely perfect, and I love how much of a pain in the arse she is. It shows her stubbornness and her determination to get women out of corsets and into more sensible attire. Hear, hear.
It’s a while since I’ve posted for this feature but I’ve got a few lined up so it should go back to being weekly. Still trying to get my head together and balance work and play at the moment. I’m loving being on placement with Unique Thinking though, and I feel like I’m really starting to find my feet. Plus it’s amazing to be able to sit down by the river and eat my lunch in the sunshine. Happy days.
Although I have to say, the decision to go to ballet tonight and dance in 20 degree heat was an absolutely terrible one. Good way to lose half your body weight in an evening though..
I absolutely loved this movie. So interesting to learn about the life of leading ladies. Loving your blog, count me as your newest follower!
