Today is just one of those days. Frustratingly unproductive (despite my large ‘to do’ list), raining and just generally tedious. I woke up with the best intentions of getting everything done that I needed to but my motivation levels seem to have wandered off somewhere. As I was about to carry on procrastinating and just feeling guilty about not doing my work, this tweet caught my eye. It’s true that the more you try to concentrate on one thing, the harder it seems to get even the simplest of tasks done. I’ve spent the last month physically and mentally exhausted from working multiple jobs, keeping up with my various courses, seeing friends and generally just trying to keep my head above water. I’ve had some brilliant news in the last couple of days and it looks like some new doors may be about to open… but we’ll have to wait and see! So I decided the best thing to do this afternoon was to cut myself some slack, finish my book and make something nice for lunch. I’ve been dying to try out Rose’s avocado pasta for the last week and now seemed like a good time to make something nourishing and delicious!
I may even give myself a little pamper time before the Baltic preview party tonight. I’m thinking manicure and coconut oil hair treatment? How do you cheer yourself up on days like this?
One last thing, is it wrong that I’m planning my entire outfit around my new mulberry?
Beautiful photos!
a coconut oil hair treatment sounds divine!
and I know just how you feel about not being as productive as you would like to be!

I don't think it's strange to plan an entire outfit around an investment bag like that. 😉 I do the same!
On days like that, I love doing manicures because I actually do feel productive after them (nailpolish can't be chipped, right?). I also love setting aside some time to read a book, as it's another enjoyable activity that feels productive. Good luck getting on top of things tomorrow~ Every body has one of those days every now-and-then. <3

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Yeah I think sometimes there's nothing better than clearing your head by losing yourself in a good book. I finished mine yesterday so I'm on the lookout for something new. If you have any recommendations then let me know! x
