You know that you’ve had a good night when you wake up still wearing last night’s make up with flowers painted on one side of your face..
With the three hour train journey down to Liverpool, I finally had a little bit of time to sit back and catch up on my reading, (Dazed & Confused and Hemingway are a bit of an odd combination, I know). I got down to Lime Street on Saturday evening and spent the weekend dancing til dawn in The Kazimier with pink flowers all over my face, (and waking up to find them perfectly intact the next day). Followed by a day of chilling on Lark Lane watching the Liverpool match, and a feast of ham cooked in coca-cola, peas and roasties. Now I’m back home I feel as though I need another weekend to recover.
