Hello! I know I’ve been pretty rubbish lately but things have been a little chaotic. After 6 months of searching and interning, I’ve finally landed myself a proper big girl’s job! Having been interning for Shift since August, I’ve just been offered a role working for the creative agency running the scheme, Studio Precept. At the moment I’m kind of in transit as I finish working my notice at Morethan and begin learning about my new role. I’m still working hard on Shift’s launch so a lot of my time at the moment is being taken trying to insure everything comes together as smoothly as possible. I thought I’d bring you up to speed on everything else the easy way.. instagram!
I spotted the editorial on crafts in one of Cata’s magazines and noticed the 160th anniversary Singer. It’s so similar to the vintage beauty I picked up at Tynemouth, remember? I’m still trying to find time to pick up little pieces of pattern cutting but I think it’s difficult to focus on anything while there’s so much going on! The pink dress is a Zara sale find but a little bit of a project for me because the zip needs replacing. The lazy part of me is debating just taking it to a clothing alterer to save me the hassle of having to do it.. Really all I want to spend my time doing when I come in from work is snuggle up with a bestie and watch films while we fill our faces with Thai food! I do have a fun little project that I’m working on with Cata when we both get a spare moment. The handmade necklace in the last pic is a little preview but I’ll share more with you soon..
