Today I’ve been asking myself the age old question: how soon is too soon for fair isle knits?
According to Sarey though this is perfectly acceptable attire for mid-November.. I try to pass this off as just a winter skirt but I think the reindeers probably give it away as a Christmas one. That’s not really a problem though because I love Christmas. I’m one of those people that can’t help getting ridiculously overexcited. I’ve already had the guys at Studio Precept making fun of me for it, but I can’t help behaving like a kid. And I get the feeling that this year, I’m not the only one; Fenwick’s Christmas window has been up for what feels like ages, the shops are filled with Christmas music and starting to get ridiculously busy, and I’ve already started buying gifts.. Plus after seeing the new John Lewis Christmas advert and the Coco Cola advert last weekend, my festive excitement has just been magnified. Not to mention that I’m going away a week on Friday to Paris! Just a little birthday treat but I’ll share more about that soon as I start stressing about what to pack..
jumper: Topshop, skirt: Urban Outfitters, boots: Urban Outfitters, watch: Michael Kors, jewellery: vintage, Tiffany’s, Pandora.
It's never too soon for faire isle 😉 I think the totally plain pairings keep it being perfectly acceptable for November – but I'm super excited for Christmas already too so I wouldn't judge anyone running down the street in this and a fair isle jumper with some wooly white rights either :L
Gorgeous skirt! I don't think it's too christmassy at all. Ahhh, I got so excited when I saw Fenwicks Window a few weeks ago, my bf was super embarrassed but…who cares it's almost Christmas!!! haha xxx
It is never, ever too early for Fair Isle!
It's never too soon for Fair Isle! Of course, this is coming from a girl who has been counting down to Christmas since before Halloween, has already done most of her shopping, sent cards and would wear Fair Isle every day if it was socially acceptable 🙂 Needless to say, I love your skirt!

I'm in love with your bag! I'm excited for Christmas this year, too! Since I left my corporate job that means I get to spend time with my family. Yey!
Excited to read about your Paris trip! =)
