John Frieda: Full Repair range

A little while ago, the nice folks at John Frieda contacted me and asked how I’d like to trial one of their range of products.. being a little caught up with work, I’ve been using them now for just over a week without having time/energy to even start a post about them.. so here I go:

John Frieda Full Repair

When John Frieda got in touch, I was offered a choice of the Sheer Blonde, Brilliant Brunette or Full Repair. Since I’m clearly not a blonde and dislike any products which change (or claim to enhance) the colour of my hair, I opted for Full Repair and was sent full size samples of the Full Body Shampoo, Perfect Ends Deep Infusion conditioner and Style Creator Heat-Activated Styling Spray. Having naturally curly hair, I do subject my barnet to its fair share of heat damage since I regularly blow dry it and use straighteners. I also suffer from eczema which causes me to have a very dry scalp, so making sure that is hydrated and moisturised is really important! However, I have very fine hair (luckily a lot of people don’t notice because it has a wave in it..), which means that if I opt for too thick, moisturising shampoos then I find they my hair feel greasy quickly!

hair care John Frieda

I wanted to write a fair post and in all honesty, the Full Repair are a great range of products. They may not be the ultimate in haircare (but really I’m not sure there is anything out there that is miraculous), but I have noticed an increase in shine without causing greasiness. And possibly most importantly for a repair range, I’ve seen a visible reduction in the number of split ends. All in all, I’ll definitely be a range that I’ll come back to – and I think the heat protection spray has already wormed its way into my haircare regime!

I used this range last year after I got from Asia because my hair was really heat damaged and dry, worked a treat!

Oooh your hair always looks good but it looks super healthy here. Wish they'd get in touch with me, my split ends are a nightmare now I've had it dip dyed! x
