ghd: Final Shine Spray

The festive season always calls for a little bit of sparkle, and nothing compliments that more than having nice shiny hair; so you can imagine my delight when the lovely people at ghd asked how I’d like to try out their Final Shine Spray.

As you know from my John Frieda review, I’ve got very fine, naturally curly hair so although I use regularly use heat to style my hair, I don’t like using a lot of product because it weighs down my hair. I also find that using a lot of product when styling can make my hair look greasy, even when I’ve just washed it! The Final Shine Spray is a very light mist that is sprayed on after styling to add extra shine and a glossy finish to your hair. Since I have curly hair, even after straightening it I have a few short, wispy hairs that need smoothing down, and this is perfect for that job! The mist is so light that it didn’t weigh down my hair, it just helped to tame the flyaways.

The first time I tried it out (as you can see from the photos), I used the spray directly onto my hair and found that it created a very high shine effect that was perfect for a festive night out! But if you’re looking for a more day to day, well-groomed look, you can get a much more subtle shine by spritzing it onto a comb and running it through the ends of your hair.

Glossy hair is definitely the perfect addition to any pretty party outfit, and my ghd Final Shine Spray will be coming up to Edinburgh with me for New Year’s Eve! Have you got any plans for tomorrow night?

Ah this sounds like such a good product :). I don't have fine hair so I'm not sure if it will have the same effect on me, (and I can leave conditioner in without it weighing down) but it sounds like a great product for people with lovely fine hair 🙂 xx
