Being a literature grad and a book worm, I’ve always loved old hardbacks with pretty covers, and lately I’ve found the perfect solution for disguising my kindle! Based in the UK, KleverCases are made by Manor Bindery, a traditional book binding company with a love of new technology.
Their cases are designed to make your Kindle look and feel as though it were a book. Using traditional book binding techniques, the covers are made from sturdy cardboard with a matte finish making them almost identical to a hardback (as you can see from the photo above). Within the cover, the cases contain a thin rubber casing to grip and support your Kindle, as well as protecting the screen when the case is closed. When I first stumbled upon the cases on MobileFun, this Alice in Wonderland cover was the first one that I was drawn too. And it caught my eye because as you can see from the photo, I actually have EXACTLY the same edition only it’s a 1953 hardback that I found in Tynemouth flea market. Unfortunately there wasn’t any of the Alice in Wonderland covers in stock that were the right size for Kindle Paperwhites so instead I chose the Sherlock Holmes KleverCase, but I have to say I love it. The colours are nice and subtle and I’m impressed with the attention to detail (right down to the title printed on the spine). I guess it probably would’ve been a bit daft to choose a case with the same cover as a book I already own..
It's such a right choice for you
These are ever so gorgeous, I'm a huge book worm too and I love hardback books, I may just have to get myself one of these! 🙂

What a cool idea! Kindles are ideal for travelling, but when I'm at home I can't resist a proper book!
I need that Sherlock Holmes cover. I love my Kindle but I do love the look of a nice old book.
great books!

I am also a book worm. Your idea is great.
I saw something like this for the first time the other day and fell in love! I still haven't quite given in to the kindle – between my blog and my phone, I spend so much time staring at screens that when I read, I'm very happy to look at paper. But the idea of being able to wrap a kindle in a true book cover really is lovely 🙂
xox,

Ooh I love these! I wonder if they make the equivalent for a Kobo!
I am curious to find out what blog platform you have
been working with? I'm having some minor security problems with my latest blog and I'd like to find something more secure.
