With the last few weeks of summer draining away it’s starting to get to that time of year when you need a few more layers, and bare legs are suddenly no longer an option. Although I’m feeling ready for winter, I’ve still been making the most of summer dresses, sandals and strolls along the quayside (without a coat) while I can.
This last week has been mental. After finding out some big news on Friday, I decided to take a little break from blogging over the weekend so I’ve fallen behind with my posting. It’s been one of those weeks where I’ve needed a little bit of time to wrap my head around things and catch up with the people who are important. I promise, I’ll be back to usual business soon. I’ve got plenty of posts piling up.. I just need to clear my head of all the other worries and distractions so I can sit and write. For now though, all I want to do is bury myself in a good book. I hope you don’t mind…

Beautiful Quayside piccies 🙂
Hope you're OK hun x
Thanks, Chloe! Big changes but all positive ones, (I think) xx
I took a long break with blogging, even until now. I sometimes miss the inter-webs but life outside blogging is more fun. 🙂
Enjoy the break and have a happy weekend!
I know what you mean! It's so nice to come back to after a little break sometimes 🙂 xx
I'm so on the wavelength with needing the break and concentrating with what's important on life – I love my blog and I love the community and reading blogs (even though I've not really been partaking in anything recently) but there are times when a new lipstick or dress seem rather insignificant with what actually matters. Hope everything is okay with you my lovely – and when you're back the world will be waiting with breath that is baited 😉 xx
yeah same! It just feels like I need to take a minute and slow down!! Think I'm getting myself back on track… or rather I have A LOT of posts built up at the moment.. xx
We all need to take a break from blogging once in a while – after all, it's something that is supposed to be fun and if for any reason it doesn't feel like fun, it's time to take a break and return to it when you feel refreshed. Hope you're enjoying your last days of summer, that striped dress is lovely 🙂
xox,
Cee
thanks hun 🙂 Yeah I know what you mean.. kinda feels like the longer I take off from it though, the harder it is to get back on track! I'm getting there though xx
