raspberrykitsch-christmas-wishlist-2013

Although I’ve been excited about Christmas since pretty much November (ok, maybe October), I still feel as though the festive season has managed to sneak up on me. I’ve pretty much sorted everyone’s presents, but my personal wishlist is still ongoing so I thought I’d share some of my current favourites.

Watch: Daniel Wellington

I fell in love with the rose gold Classic St Andrews not so long ago and have been lusting after it ever since… I’m not generally a watch person, and have only really taken to wearing one when I got my MK5055 a couple years ago. Although I love my Michael Kors MK5055, I’ve been looking for something a little more simple. I love the roundness of the face and how thin it is! It’s ideal for when I want to have a large watch without it looking as bulky as the Michael Kors. It was a little too late to ask Santa for it, so I’ve treated myself to it with Christmas money. Shame it won’t be arriving until after Christmas, but I’ll make sure I share photos when it does.

Book: Tomboy Style by Lizzie Garrett Mettler

I’ve been reading Tomboy Style for a while now, and it’s always been such a brilliant source of sartorial inspiration. I’ve not seen any copies of this in real life, but if Lizzie’s blog is anything to go by then I know it will be brilliant.

Scarf: Barbour

After getting another Barbour for my birthday, I’ve found myself really drawn to heritage fashion. And I’m especially obsessed with tartan at the moment. Just another to add to the collection, I guess.

Boots: Kurt Geiger, Sandy

Ok so slight confession, a bit like the watch and aren’t actually on my wishlist currently.. because I already treated myself to them a little while back. Kurt Geiger was running a 25% off promotion and I couldn’t resist ordering them! They a little bit of a change from my usual uniform of chelsea boots and I feel look a little sturdier than my Ozzy and Deena ones. The leather is lovely and soft though so they’re ridiculously comfortable.

Lipstick: Tom Ford, Cherry Lush

Not sure why but I keep being drawn to lipsticks with cherries in the title ever since J introduced me to Revlon’s classic, Cherries in the Snow. This looks like the perfect shade somewhere between pink and red, and would probably go with everything. Plus it’s Tom Ford, and he can do no wrong. I’m not so sure I can convince myself to spend that much on a lipstick though..

Speaker: Sol Republic Deck

I’m not really much of a one for gadgets but when Sol Republic got in touch to tell me about Deck, their new wireless speaker, I couldn’t resist! It’ll be ideal for summertime, whether I’m just lying in the garden or on a beach somewhere, and want to listen to my music out loud. Plus the clever little thing lets up to 5 friends link up to it so you can take turns playing DJ.

Eye Makeup: Alexa Chung for Eyeko

I know it’s a bit of a novelty but it’s Christmas! I posted this set in my Christmas party outfit because it pretty much sums up the eye makeup I always wear – jet black flicks of liquid eyeliner and lashings of mascara. I’m dying to try out Alexa Chung’s Eyeko set and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion one of my little brothers may have gotten me it for Christmas.. I’ll let you know if they do and if it’s worth the money after I’ve tried it.

iPhone Case: Orla Kiely

My current iPhone case is starting to get a little tattered so I’ve been looking for a new one for a while. And even though I kind of begrudge paying a load of money for an iphone case, I’ve had my eyes on this Orla Kiely one for a while.

Earphones: Sol Republic Jax

Along with the speaker, Sol Republic kindly sent me this pair of Jax headphones in raspberry. Very fitting for the blog. And I’ve been a fan of Sol Repbulic earphones ever since I got to try out some last year. They’re excellent sound quality and unlike some in-earbud earphones, they’re really comfy.

I'm having the same dilemma with Tom Ford make up – beautifully packaged and I'm sure its brilliant but its just so pricey! The watch is such a good choice, so classically beautiful and the scarf is lovely x
