Since I’m still clinging onto my festive spirit, I’ve been spending the last few days tucked up under fluffy blankets watching Christmas films. My favourites are always the classics, and it doesn’t get better than Bing Crosby singing White Christmas as he falls in love and comes to the aid of an old friend whose business is struggling.. just in time for the first little snowflakes to start to fall on Christmas Eve. And of course, I can’t help but lust after Vera Ellen’s fantastic wardrobe. Edith Head was such a brilliant costume designer. Like always, with the films she dressed, it’s all in the details.
I have always lusted after Vera Ellen's wardrobe, too! It is right up there (for me) with Eleanor Parker's from The Sound of Music!

What a lovely collection of scenes! Her wardrobe is amazing. And all this makes me feel extra guilty that I've never seen this movie!! I'm not even sure how that's possible… Hope you had a very merry Christmas!
Cheers,

I love your Stylish Moments posts in general but this one is definitely one of my favourites you've done ever 😉 Such classic beauty! Sigh!
