You know when you buy something and feel like you HAVE to wear it straight away? Or when people buy you lovely things and you want to wear them all at once? This is kinda one of those outfits. The skirt is a new favourite and the watch hasn’t left my wrist since it arrived just after Christmas. I’m starting to get a little bit bored and wanted a change from my Michael Kors, so I opted for Daniel Wellington since their watches are such a nice, classic shape. I love how thin and light it is. Hopefully it’ll give my wrists a break from the bruises caused by the clunky MK bashing against them.

So let me tell you about the skirt. First of all you should know, New Look isn’t a shop I usually tend to venture into. For one thing, the sheer scale of product in most of their stores puts me off. I don’t want to be overwhelmed when I’m shopping. Yeah, I like to rake as much as the next person, but in general I never find anything appealing in there so I tend not to bother even trying. That was until Ella posted a photo on her instagram of a gorgeous floral tapestry dress. I assumed it was vintage but thought it was worth tweeting her to find out where it was from. New Look was the last place I expected her to say! Turns out I wasn’t the only person who wanted to snap one up, and it was already sold out online by the time I checked. Then a few days after Christmas, I was feeling brave and decided to ventue into New Look to see if I could find it. I managed to get my hands on the dress as well as stumble upon this skirt, made from the same fabric! Definitely my favourite festive sale finds. I mean, you can’t really go wrong with a skirt for £6, can you? Now I can’t help but wonder how many other New Look treasures I’ve missed out on!

Stunning look Hannah. I love it all – especially the fact that it's teamed with a crisp white shirt which makes the whole outfit look really contemporary. And New Look is a bit hit and miss – I've not been in for a while – maybe it's time for a visit.

I know exactly what you mean about New Look, it isn't a shop that ever appeals to me and they always seem to be massive stores which are totally overwhelming as a lot of it is either too young for me, or just not me full stop, but there are decent buys int here if you are prepared to rummage – and a £6 skirt that beautiful is definitely worth rummaging for 😉

I just love a good tapestry-style floral pattern 😉 This skirt is total cuteness paired with a crisp white shirt. Love the whole outfit!

Absolutely love this outfit, especially the skirt. Like you, I would never normally look in New Look – I usually hate their stuff! x
