New Year is always a good excuse to get organised, (and of course that means treat yourself to some nice new stationery). I need very few excuses to indulge my stationery habit. There’s nothing I love more than starting a fresh notebook or diary; its pages all nice and clean just waiting to be scribbled on.

Having had a pretty quiet Christmas, I feel as though I’ve had loads of time to get back into my blogging. But now I’m back to work, I want to get myself organised with content so I can keep up the momentum and not let it slip when I get in from work and I’m too tired to post. So in the interest of getting organised with my blogging (and as an excuse to buy another new diary), I thought I’d get one just for my blog. That way I can use it to jot down ideas, as well as to plan and schedule content. So when I read about The Magic Notebook on Alice’s blog, I couldn’t resist checking them out! Stocking a range of diaries, planners and notebooks which seem to largely come from Korean illustrators, they’re definitely a great place to visit for cute stationery. After spending ages debating which one to go for, eventually I ordered a red Le Journal d’April. Mainly because it’s got a little more space to scribble than the Alice Weekly Planner. One of the great things about these journals is that they’re undated, meaning that you can dip in and out of them if you’re not confident about being able to keep it religiously throughout the year!

I read that post on Alice's blog and loved it and I love this just as much! The two of you have inspired me to grab one of my own – here's to being organized!

I'm such a sucker for cutesy planners. Or anything cutesy, really. I especially love the Korean ones for some reason. Having one definitely helps a lot with being more organized and on top of things!
