Apologies for being a little MIA this past week or so.. As I mentioned in my post the other day, I’m in the process of moving so most of my free time has been occupied with trying to fit my life into cardboard boxes (and those big blue ikea bags). There’s nothing like moving home to make you realise how much stuff you have… I’ll admit that a big part of me just wants to shove it all back in a cupboard to forget about for a little while longer, but it’s been a good opportunity to work out the things I know I don’t want anymore. Like the ridiculous stack of fashion magazines I mentioned sorting through last weekend! Although I knew the majority were issues I’d be unlikely to give a second glance, it did help me unearth a couple of gems. Like this old Alexa Chung editorial in Harper’s Bazaar (which I don’t ordinarily buy). Although it was shot three years ago, it still looks amazing. And it still makes me pine after sixties dresses and shiny loafers. So I’ll leave you with Alexa Chung looking like a babe, while I go back to packing boxes…

Alexa is so pretty! And while magazines can be hard to move from one place to other, they can help you save a bunch of money. I made a post not too long ago on how to recycle them and use them as furniture (if you are interested you can check it out under the interior design tag). Good luck with the moving and fitting everything into tiny boxes.

I haven't been blog hopping as of late and I have to admit I'm loving the new look of your blog. Alexa's always a favorite, too. She's always so effortless.

I think you know that I'm not Alexa's biggest fan – but this editorial was the first time I ever saw her and thought, wow, she can be beautiful. Definitely a gem 🙂 Good luck with your move!

Moving is the worst thing ever, although those big blue Ikea bags are genius and complete life savers!
