sunny-days-summer-dresses-from-joules
How is it August already? After spending the last week in Croatia with a few of my besties, I’ve decided it’s definitely time to get back on track with my blogging. In the run up to my holiday, I was too distracted by making lists, getting suncream and panic-buying summer clothes to remember to schedule some posts! So since I’ve got a few days off, I thought it was about time to get caught up. I took these a few weeks back with Bosson, on a particularly sunny day spent strolling along the quayside after filling our faces at Archer’s Scran Social at Gusto. It was one of those really hot days where all you want to do is relax with a glass of wine, so food and wine tasting was the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

This Joules dress has been a favourite of mine for a while now. I was gifted it by Joules back in March where it unfortunately hung in my wardrobe waiting for better weather. With their quintessentially British floral prints, I’ve always associated Joules dresses with summer time. In my mind, they’re the sort of brand that is always synonymous with well-made, high quality pieces and this dress is certainly no exception. Made from soft white linen and viscose, the colours are the perfect complement to tanned skin and simple sandals or pumps. Let’s just hope we haven’t seen the last of summer yet!

Outfit details:
dress: c/o Joules, jacket: AllSaints, bag: Dr Martens, shoes: c/o French Soles, necklace: vintage, sunglasses: Ray Ban
