braving the cold
This See By Chloe coat is by far my favourite TK Maxx find. And since the cold weather started, I’ve been pretty much living in it! I’ve also found a new appreciation for snoods. Although I’ve appreciated them from afar for a while, I’d never found one that I really loved. Then Emma treated me to this floral one from H&M for my birthday, and I feel like I’m fully converted! It’s got a vintage-style rose print that’s really subtle, and the neutral shade means that it goes with practically everything. Definitely one of my favourite new pieces of the season! I’m surprised it hadn’t caught my eye before, but to be honest, I’ve not really ventured into H&M lately… or any shops for that matter.

With the madness of the festive season on us, I’ve been trying to avoid braving the shops at all costs really. While I love this time of year, one thing I could really do without is the general hustle and bustle in the shops. It’s not that I’m super organised, with my presents all wrapped and ready to go. I’m honestly not. I’m still scrambling around trying to think of more presents to get my dad and my brothers (suggestions appreciated) without breaking the bank. But I’m just SICK of Christmas shoppers. They’re everywhere. And they always seem to be in my way. After heading into town with my mother the other day, we eventually gave up after finding a few bits and pieces in TK Maxx and headed for coffees and cakes.. but not before a little posing in Central Arcade, where we could get a few snaps (although not the best quality ones) away from the biting cold. And so I’m still needing to pick up bits and pieces over the next few days. Then there’s wrapping it all up of course.. Which I’ve still not started. I’m sure that if I stick Muppets Christmas Carol on and grab a glass (or two) of rioja, I’ll be able to battle through it though.
