It seems that I've finally hit that age where everyone starts getting married. No joke, I've had four wedding invites already for this year. It probably doesn't sound like much (yet) but this is how it starts. And that's already four more invites than last year. You know when summer turns into wedding season, you're definitely starting to get old. So along with the upcoming weddings, I've now got the stress of what to wear. Like most people, I'm not usually a formal dress sort of girl, so finding wedding appropriate attire usually means going to places like Coast. I wouldn't usually venture to Coast because I find most of the dresses are quite formal and a bit too smart for day to day. But it makes them a perfect place for occasion wear - whether it's summer weddings or a day at the races. I'm not sold on fascinators or anything too fancy, but having started my outfit planning, I found loads of classic shaped dresses in a range of neutral palettes. I love the cute peachy shades of this daisy jacquard dress and the little pops of bright blue in the pattern of this floral dress. They're the perfect sort of modern day Audrey Hepburn dress: simple and elegant. Just add a statement necklace, leather clutch a pair of nude heels, a slick of lipstick and you're good to go!
