back to blocks..

Since finishing my top, I can't stop thinking about ideas for new projects and with a friend's birthday coming up next week, I thought it may be nice to make her a piece. I'm a bit shorter than her so my block would be no good. As I want it to be a surprise, I asked one of the other girls to step in as the model and I'm using her measurements to create a new block. I'm thinking it will be another quite simple, classically shaped top using some of the fabric I bought in India. I've just finished sketching the block so now I'm just about ready to start designing. Perfect excuse to spend the weekend watching Audrey Hepburn and Jean Seberg films to try and get some inspiration?

  4. What a lovely idea, it's so nice to have gifts that have been hand made! Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday - favourite Hepburn film ever.
