Pom-poms and prosecco

Hello again! Ok I’ve dropped off the blogging map a little at the moment being tied up with work projects but I thought it was about time I posted these… The other week I mentioned the Caroline Issa and LK Bennett collaboration, and last Tuesday I was lucky enough to be invited to see the new collection at Fenwick. I dragged Cata along with me and was greeted by cupcakes, goodie bags and glasses of pink prosecco… followed by a lot of oohing and ahhing at the expensive shoes.

And even though I know they’re completely out of my (current) price range, I would be lying if I didn’t admit that for a few seconds I considered putting a pair on a Fenwick four part payment. And even though I know they’re a little impractical with their heavy embroidery, and would last all of 5 seconds on a usual night out and end up covered in alcohol stains and glass; there’s definitely something seductive about having a pair of shoes that are so unique. Especially when your usual wardrobe is just full of mass-produced High Street items… maybe one day I’ll be prancing about in ridiculously priced pom-pom shoes, but I think may be waiting a while.

Those shoes are beautiful! Totally agree about them being completely impractical but if I had the space I'd buy them just to look at them :L
