After spending the whole summer wearing it, I think it’s pretty safe to say my obsession with gingham is going nowhere for a while. Especially after my dad walked in with this gingham Topshop skirt the other day as a ‘get well soon’ present. When the weather started getting colder, I stopped wearing my gingham trousers from Uniqlo because they were a bit too thin. But Topshop’s latest stock seems to be reaffirming that gingham is a print you can wear all year round.. which is fine by me! Only trouble is the fact that I’m off work and pretty much housebound at the moment. In theory lying around in PJs is fun and being able to stay in bed reading is a luxury, but the novelty kind of wears off after a while. And since I’ve got no reason to get dressed, I’ve got no reason to be able to wear my new skirt. Plus even if I do decide to wear something to wander about the house.. there’s been no one at home to take my photo so it kind of limits being able to do outfit posts. Although restlessness is making me plan outfits. So at least when I do get the chance to go somewhere in my new skirt, I know what I’m wearing it with.

Who needs an excuse to wear gingham all round! Your dad sounds like a babe haha. Make the most of lying around reading books – sounds far preferable to any other wintery day if you ask me! thanks for the follow and comment btw đŸ˜€ followed you too!
